For leaders in transition

What if the way forward is already here?

I sit with leaders long enough for the pattern to emerge—so you can hear what you already know, see what is asking to change, and find a way forward that feels like your own.

You are not doing it wrong. You may simply need enough space, care, and company to hear what you already know.

A place to think in company

Bring the whole tangled thing.

The decision with no clean answer. The work you may have outgrown. The idea that will not leave you alone. You do not have to make it neat before we begin.

Ways to work together

Begin with a Reflection.

Not another person telling you what to do. A thoughtful place to notice what is alive and find your next living move.

The doorway

Reflection Sessions

A 90-minute conversation for leaders at an inflection point. We slow down enough to name what is shifting, surface the pattern underneath it, and notice what is ready to move.

Begin here

What may grow from there

Sometimes one conversation is enough. Sometimes it reveals the deeper work asking to be held.

01

Ecosystem Maps

A living view of the people, resources, relationships, gaps, and possibilities around your vision.

02

Strategic Stewardship

Ongoing thought partnership that helps you hold the whole without carrying every part alone.

03

Gatherings & Speaking

Conversations, rooms, and experiences shaped around what people are truly ready to explore together.

The Cultivate Curiosity Methodology™

A way of listening for what is alive.

Nature does not confuse urgency with readiness. Neither do I. The work follows a regenerative rhythm: rooted in values, responsive to what is present, and expansive enough to make room for what has not emerged yet.

  1. Ground & Observe

Root in what matters. Read the room, the relationships, and the larger system.

  2. Engage & Refine

Build trust, test the shape, strengthen what serves, and prune what does not.

  3. Expand & Bloom

Activate aligned people and resources, then let the work become visible.

How the room is held

Open Presence.
All of You.
Keep it Here.

The OAK Framework™ grounds every conversation and gathering: full attention, full humanity, and trust that people’s stories remain protected even as their ideas travel outward.

Leave more nourished than when you entered.

Speaking & facilitation

The room is part of the work.

Sometimes I am at the front of the room. Sometimes I am beside the person onstage. Either way, I help people see relationships, resources, power, and possibility differently.

I speak, facilitate, and shape conversations for intimate salons, leadership gatherings, conferences, and rooms where something real is ready to move.

Taking root

Culture Garden

Because we were never meant to carry it alone.

For work no brilliant person should have to carry alone.

Culture Garden is an intentionally small collective of fractional executives who come together in tailored pods around bold, values-aligned visions.

Across finance, operations, people, fundraising, communications, partnerships, and strategy, we bring multiple ways of knowing to the same table. International. Intergenerational. Interdisciplinary. Built at the intersections where the most interesting work lives.

We are not only the work we do. We garden, cook, arrange flowers, build, and make things with our hands. That humanity is not separate from the strategy; it is part of what makes the strategy wiser.

About Carley

Part gardener.
Part puzzler.
Natural convener.

I do not arrive with a formula for your life or leadership. I listen for the thread beneath the noise.

I stay with the story long enough for the pattern to reveal itself. Sometimes that becomes language for a decision. Sometimes it becomes an introduction, an ecosystem map, a gathering, or a longer season of strategic stewardship.

My work is rooted in trust, equity, and stewardship. I believe resources should move toward bold ideas and underestimated leaders—and that the way we build matters as much as what we build.

A simple place to begin

Bring what you cannot quite name.

You do not need to arrive with a perfectly formed problem. We can find the shape together.
